It’s Geek Wednesday, check out Star Wars: The Last Jedi Official Teaser again! Yes, Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi is out on the Interwebs and it’s a FUN trailer to watch with enough to tease filled with various Easter eggs just in time given it’s release before last weekend’s Easter. There are SO many various articles about the new teaser trailer with claims of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ director explains one of the movie’s biggest mysteries or Star Wars 8: ‘Luke destroying the Jedi as DARTH PLAGUEIS planned makes him the Chosen One’ or Will The Last Jedi destroy everything we think we know about Star Wars?. Articles talk about how Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson revealed a critical detail but in the end it’s nothing but click bait news articles to keep talking about Star Wars: The Last Jedi and that’s okay for me. I like all the Star Wars: The Last Jedi talk. Let’s keep up with more Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi talk, let’s find the tiniest detail in the trailer and ramble on about it for hours and hours. Has Luke Skywalker hero had become a Grey Jedi, like Qui-Gon Jinn? Is that Kylo Ren & the Knights of Ren we see? Is that Yoda whispering “Surrounds us, binds us”? Is that the ancient tome shown in the teaser is The Journal of The Whills? Is Rey the Last Jedi now? Maybe on our next BtS Radio Show / Podcast, we just might! 😛

Marvel's Cloak and Dagger Trailer

Check out the new Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger trailer starring Olivia Holt ( Tandy Bowen/ Dagger) & Aubrey Joseph (Tyrone Johnson / Cloak). This is a great duo of heroes from a bunch of runaways and lost kids (Tandy and Tyrone) who start wielding their mutant powers for good & mature to become the heroes known as Cloak and Dagger. Tandy / Dagger can emit daggers of light while Tyrone / Cloak has the ability to engulf others in darkness & teleportation as seen in the trailer with a nice Marvel touch of the Roxxon Corp sign. Looking forward to this show as these are two 80s heroes that I always enjoyed in the Marvel Universe and I felt never got the chance from their initial 80’s run to be anything more. This is one of a few new set of Marvel TV shows that are coming to Freeform which makes sense given the channel & platform are owned by Disney. The next show, New Warriors, will be a sitcom type with a bunch of kid heroes lead by Squirrel Girl. I do hope the show pays good homage to Cloak and Dagger who were created by writer Bill Mantlo and artist Ed Hannigan.

More of the plot is shown in the trailer where Transformers have been on Earth and apart of their history since the Middle Ages. #Sigh Yeah. Okay so here’s MORE about Optimus Prime & the “creators” who turn him EVIL and maybe into a new Unicron? Who knows, does it matter? Star Wars: Battlefront II First Trailer Leaked! Check out the new EA’s Battlefront II first trailer before the official trailer hits the internet. From the trailer, you can see more emphasis on a single player campaign also more expansion to the games in-character roster from all the new Star Wars movies Force Awakens and Rogue One with the likes of Rey, Kylo Ren, Yoda and Darth Maul also new game maps & locations like like Hoth (again) to Starkiller Base. The Mist TV Show on Spike TV trailer - April 2017

“The Mist” slowly drifts into our television viewing for this summer as mysterious, sinister mist takes over a quiet little town. Just in time to scare the crap outta us. This new horror show is clearly going for a different vibe than the original movie adaptation of the book. More on the creepy, ghostly, evil presence side of the story vs actual creatures from another dimension coming out of “The Mist” and invading a small US town. Either way, this has an enjoyable scare factor to it & could be a big hit this summer for Spike TV.
