Marvel Heroes Omega‏ LIVE for #PS4 #MHOmega

Marvel Heroes Omega

Marvel Heroes Omega is now LIVE for Playstation 4. Check out the official trailer! If you own a Playstation 4, you can download #MHOmega on the #PS4 & also head to the PSN to Unlock Daredevil for FREE: bit.ly/MHOmegaDD
(You can play Daredevil in Marvel Comics costume or from the Netflix Daredevil series as well)

Robert: I’ve played the Beta with our fellow BtS contributor Ian and it’s a great deal of fun given the story-lines are OLD Marvel comic stories. You can play all sorts of heroes from the Marvel Universe at the start for free from the Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Black Widow to the Guardians of the Galaxy from Star-Lord to Rocket & Groot to Drax and/or Gamora. Ian was playing Squirrel-Girl and I was Doctor Strange (of course) and it was a blast to BLAST those baddies away although Ian’s Squirrel-Girl kicked more ass! 😛

Check this game out, it’s FREE to play – which often means it’s PAY to WIN – meaning you might need to PAY to get the better equipment OR better upgrades / costumes for your Marvel hero.

If you want to play but are hesitant on how to play or WHO to play, check out this Beginners Guides – Marvel Heroes Omega (PC & PS4)
Tons of great tips & insight on how to play your favorite Marvel character.

Talking Comics for 05.24.17 – I Am Groot #1, Venom #150, Totally Awesome Hulk #19 & DC’s Watchmen?

Talking Comics for 05.24.17

Talking Comics for 05.24.17. Before comics come out tomorrow, here’s this weeks episode of Talking Comics May 24th, 2017 with Mark & Chris Hunter! Talking Comics for 05.24.17I Am Groot #1, Venom #150, Totally Awesome Hulk #19, Dying & the Dead #4, All New Guardians of the Galaxy #2 (twice a month), Captain America Steve Rogers #17 (Secret Empire tie-in title), Secret Warriors #2, Jean Grey #2, X-Men Blue #4 (Kid Wolvie appearance) & DC’s Watchmen?

I am NOT a fan of DC’s Watchmen into the DC Rebirth Universe.

Robert: That said. I’m DONE being frustrated about this so I just DO NOT CARE what they’re going to be doing with Watchmen anymore. Sure, let them all mix up – why not? It’ll all be rewritten in a few years anyways in the next DC Reboot, right? Right. I’m with Chris and looking forward to the WEAPONS of DESTRUCTION story-line in this weeks Totally Awesome Hulk #19. I also Agree with Chris & Mark about Secret Empire being extended – what does that mean and WHY? Did they re-write the ending YET again. They did the EXACT same thing with Civil War 2 & that series ended poorly.

Looking forward to a new Talking Comics look! Can’t wait, guys – you all do SUCH a great job!

Black Lightning | First Look Trailer | The CW

Black Lightning First Look Trailer - May 2017

Black Lightning is FINALLY coming to our TV screens next fall! The CW is hitting it out of the park with this new Black Lightning trailer! Cress Williams is Jefferson Pierce as Black Lightning is charismatic, enjoyable and tough enough to make this show an early hit even before it’s on the air. Sadly, it’s being said that this new DC Comics super hero TV show won’t be crossing over with The Flash, Arrow or Supergirl due to the production being done in Atlanta (although – The Flash did crossover with Supergirl when 1st season of SG was shot in LA so WHO KNOWS?!). The show has it’s own feel, vibe and distinctive feel given that the hero all supporting characters are African-American.

Here’s hoping that Static Shock isn’t too far away from joining the show in the near future – maybe in it’s 2nd season?

Robert: I am looking forward to Generation X #1 out this week along with Secret Empire #2! Loved Generation X back in the day and I’m wondering how they’re going to try and capture that era again, if they can or if it will be something new. Either or works for me! Flash #22 ends The Button story-line. Also I’m VERY excited about the new Mister Miracle series – too bad it’s just a limited series but glad it is vs a new series to be cancelled early. Looks like a good bit of fun this week from DC Comics & Marvel Comics.

New WONDER WOMAN Trailer 3 (2017)

New WONDER WOMAN Trailer 3 - May 2017

New WONDER WOMAN Trailer 3! Gal Gadot comes crashing through this trailer as #WonderWoman to show more insight into the WONDER WOMAN movie. I don’t know if this is a good thing or bad. Are too many trailers giving away too much for all these upcoming Summer blockbuster movie? I think so.

The YouTube page:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkUH0NWfRQU

#WonderWoman is released in cinemas around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home for London to bring an early end to the war.

#WonderWoman is the new adventure movie by Patty Jenkins, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya and Robin Wright. The screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, from a story by Heinberg & Zack Snyder and Jason Fuchs.

#WonderWoman isn’t even out yet talking of a Possible sequel…
In April 2017, director Patty Jenkins talked about the possibility of a sequel, stating “I’m excited for her to come to America and become the Wonder Woman we are all familiar with from having grown up around her as an American superhero. I’d like to bring her a little farther along into the future and have a fun, exciting storyline that is its own thing. Wonder Woman 1 is so much about her becoming the person she is. I can’t wait to spring forward with who she is and have another great standalone superhero film.

Wonder Woman comes crashing into theaters June 2, 2017.

The Hartley Show: Spoilers and Trailers for Trailers: When is enough, enough?!?

The Hartley Show: Spoilers and Trailers for Trailers

The Hartley Show: Spoilers and Trailers for Trailers: When is enough, enough?!? Our good friend Hartley has some great insight on spoilers, trailers for trailers aka the teaser trailer that creates great hype before the trailer LONG before the movie or show comes out.

Robert:Good question. When do we see enough trailers or trailer for trailers? I’m tired of teaser trailers and the 100 trailers take keep coming out before a movie hits the theatres or shows hit the TV / Netflix. Give me one big trailer and I’m done. That is enough for me! Look at the mini teaser trailers for the Justice League movie that came out 2 days before the full teaser trailer for the fncking movie. I mean enough is enough, agreed! BTW I LOVED the Six Million Dollar Man & Bigfoot episode & YES, when you missed it, you missed it. I LOVED THAT!! Great on Hartley for not going into the spoilers like The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones but spoilers are another big thing that our new social media world cannot keep hidden for long, especially NOT in the comic book world. This often spins out of control – see Hydra Captain America or Captain Hydra news. The fallout from that is so massive that there are stupid fandom that were burning the FREE Secret Empire comic book that came out in protest to Hydra Captain America or Captain Hydra. Stupid. Stupid fandom but fueled by the spoilers & over hype of the twisted idea of a Nazi Captain America ruling America in Secret Empire series.

The Hartley Show: Iron Fist: Yay, Nay or Meh?

The Hartley Show: Iron Fist: Yay, Nay or Meh? MAY 2017

The Hartley Show: Iron Fist: Yay, Nay or Meh? I’m slowly catching up on my Hartley Show episodes (sorry guys). Hartley rambles on about the Netflix Iron Fist show and how they relate to the Iron Fist comic book by Marvel Comics. A VERY enjoyable episode, thanks to all involved!

Robert: Agreed, I LIKED Netflix Iron Fist show but didn’t LOVE it like I did Daredevil (seasons 1 & 2), Jessica Jones & Luke Cage. I believe that Bruebaker & Fraction’s “The Immortal Iron Fist” took the character to a brand new level after Bendis brought Iron Fist into New Avengers. I think Hartley missed that the Spider Ninja woman was the “Bride of Nine Spiders” & one of the Immortal Weapons. I do defend that this is along the lines of a Batman Begins like story-line for Iron Fist in the Marvel Netflix universe in that he’s learning how to be both Danny Rand & Iron Fist so there are times when he fails at one or the other since it’s the first time he’s been to the outside world in 15 years from K’un-L’un. Now do I believe that the show and Finn Jones could have done a better job at playing Danny Rand & the Iron Fist – HELL YEAH! Hopefully in the upcoming Defenders series, Iron Fist will be the character we want him to be especially when playing off Luke Cage.

From their YouTube page:
Hartley desperately tries to maintain focus talking about Iron Fist, but man the show was such a roller coaster it takes all his brain power to stay on point!
Watch Hartley struggle!
