We have a duel review of the The Division Open Beta that was released last weekend. Enjoy!
OH HELL YEAH! Check them out, all the Archer women made it into the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 issue.
Kudos to the entire creative team (writer G. Willow Wilson, artist by Adrian Alphona & editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker) on Ms. Marvel comic book for winning the Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity, held at Long Beach Comic Expo this past weekend!
Check out the new teaser for Disney‘s upcoming remake of Pete’s Dragon. Seems ‘lil Pete is a feral kid out in the Northwest (hey, neat, that’s by us… wait a minute, was that filmed up here?) who survived on his own… or does he? Survive alone?
WHAT THE SH*T is this now? I just… okay, let’s watch the video and see what the heck Dan Didio is talking about…
This is a pretty late edition despite being a pretty strong episode.
That’s mostly due to the fact that when I was writing up something for the The Walking Dead recap, I thought it’d be more meaningful to talk about the importance of certain scenes for the episode rather than just retelling what happened.
SO HERE IS THE BRAND NEW ALL DIFFERENT FORMAT
Let’s just get the recap quickly done. With the help of the trusty thing called Google, here’s a summary of what happened in Faking Miracles.
Thanks Wiki
In the secret basement below his home, the Monarch discovers proof that his father was a superhero associated with Jonas Sr. known as “The Blue Morpho.” He misses several calls from his wife, who wants him to attend a party of Guild members at Wide Wale’s building, but ultimately gets the invitation. The Monarch attends the party but is swiftly intercepted by Wide Wale, who ejects him due to his wearing his supervillain costume. Another villain, Copycat, intervenes and offers the Monarch a suit, but uses the opportunity to knock the Monarch out and steal his costume. Using his power to duplicate himself, Copycat breaks into the Venture building and tricks Dr. Mrs. the Monarch and Wide Wale into thinking the Monarch blew off the party to illegally arch Dr. Venture. Hank gets called to the building for his new pizza delivery job, where he encounters Wide Wale’s daughter Serena, the same girl he encountered several times previously. Serena ignores her bodyguards’ objections and makes a date with Hank. Meanwhile, Brock tries to help Dean cram for his entrance exams. While showering, Dean is infected by a puddle of nanorobotic liquid accidentally freed from J.J.’s vault by Billy. Billy and Pete experimenting with what they think is a tutorial for the device ends up causing Dean to suffer a heart attack, develop super strength, and exhibit hyper intelligence. Some time later, Dean urinates out most of the nanomachines, but Dr. Venture is revealed to have kept some in his brain and calls Dean passing his exams the new Venture Industries’ first miracle.
All right, so now that we’re on a clear base, let’s go forward with a breakdown of lore and some other gimmicks.
Ian and I are going to be breaking down what we thought of this week’s mid season return of The Walking Dead. This is a decent review so kick back, slip off your boots, light’em if you got’em & Enjoy!
The Walking Dead – Season 6 episode 9: “No Way Out”
SPOILER WARNINGS!!
Okay am I going to far with the whole Much Ado About Nothing slant? It’s a comedy that has it’s heavy drama ties as all good Shakespeare plays have. Is this going to be the DC Comics comedy of errors with it’s own fandom? Are DC Comics not doing a reboot, not doing a rebuid (well…) or not doing another big Event across all their books. No. They’re said to be bringing back the legacy to their DC Comics universe. Mixing from the past & present. Huh.
Well, let’s listen to head creative DC Comics Mafia guys, Geoff Johns here:
Okay, I’m back to do Solit’s for upcoming Marvel & DC Comics comic books. I’ll pick out a few books & leave my own comments. Enjoy.
