Shall We Begin? #DeathNote Netflix trailer

Death Note trailer. Coming to Netflix on August 25th, 2017

Check out the new Death Note trailer. From the Japanese manga hit series (written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata) & the animated show, Death Note finally hits the US in this new Netflix series. What if you had the power to decide who lives and who dies? Be interesting if they keep the name of the Shinigami (“the death god” / “god of death” or “death spirit”) as Ryuk in this series. Love how the series only shows Ryuk’s eyes when it asks the question, “Shall we begin?”

From YouTube:
We suggest you obey the rules. Death Note follows a high school student who comes across a supernatural notebook, realizing it holds within it a great power; if the owner inscribes someone’s name into it while picturing their face, he or she will die. Intoxicated with his new godlike abilities, the young man begins to kill those he deems unworthy of life.

The Netflix original film is directed by Adam Wingard (Blair Witch, Youโ€™re Next) and stars Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers), Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out), Paul Nakauchi (Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worldโ€™s End), Shea Whigham (American Hustle) and Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man).

Death Note will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 25th.

Arrgghh! Enough Event Comic Books!

Between the Staples - Enough Event Comic Book Series!

THAT’S IT! I’ve fncking had ENOUGH of all the fncking Event books by DC & Marvel Comics! I’M DONE! I DON’T CARE ANYMORE! I can’t handle it. I’m burnt out, I’ve already forgotten what the last event books were, if they even mattered or not. Below is a list of 115 Event series & titles since 2010 from both Marvel & DC Comics. ONE HUNDRED & FIFTEEN SERIES & TITLES! Just… let… that… sink… in. In 7 years, we’ve had WAY. TOO. MANY. EVENT. BOOKS!

Now where is ALL this coming from? Well we’ve gotten news of two (or more) new event series from both companies. For Marvel Comics, we’ve known about the upcoming turn of evil Captain America Steve Rogers as a Hydra agent in the upcoming Secret Empire. Also coming from Marvel are two other sub-series NOT tied to Secret Empire which are Weapons of Mutant Destruction & Edge of Venomverse. Over at DC Comics we got news of Dark Days from Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV. Dark Days is said to be some new story that mixes past, present & the future of the DC Universe or some sh!t like that. #Yawn #IDontFnckingCareAnymoreDCorMarvelComics #EnoughFnkcingEventComicBooks
