Well shit, I wonder how HEROES will last for another season when they just got rid of Nathan Petrelli from the show. Too bad, he was one of the few actors I enjoyed watching, not that I can stand watching much of the show now but if he had come back… maybe.

I understand why Nickelodeon wants to have some more properties to go to battle with any upcoming Marvel stuff coming down the Disney pipe. I hope the creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got some good $$ from this but I do wonder how the TMNT will be exploited in the upcoming cartoon wars. *sigh* More on CBR regarding this news:

Oh shit, look what Virtual Echo just flipped me!?

Is Dollhouse on it’s last legs? A good post on Blog@Newsarama mentions how Dollhouse is on the bench for the November sweeps which is not a good sign for any show.

A while ago, I mentioned on Twitter if Dollhouse will survive and I knew that some DH fans would come out and flame me over my posts. I mentioned the following:

@RobertParizek If #Firefly fans get all browncoats & decked out in cosplay, do #DOLLHOUSE fans cosplay as blank slates in pastal coloured tracksuits?

@RobertParizek Read #DOLLHOUSE ratings are not good & I am sure Whedon fans will blame FOX but if a show is fucking boring, a show is fucking boring.

The biggest issue of Dollhouse IMHO is that there is NO  ONE to “like” or bound with on the show. There is no Everyman/Everywoman unless Echo is programmed to be a lactating MILF. NONE of the characters like each other in any way unless they are programmed to — why watch a show where NO  ONE likes one another?! I understand that maybe having unlikeable characters is what Dollhouse wants to do in that manner but I am guessing that the majority of TV viewers don’t “get it”.

If you haven’t heard — Geoff Johns is writing Justice Society of America to star on Smallville this season. Seems as though Stargirl, Dr. Fate & Hawkman are coming to the CW. IGN has the following casting info: Brittney Irvin (Aliens in America, V) as Stargirl, Michael Shanks (Burn Notice, Stargate Universe) as Hawkman & Brent Stait (Andromeda, Blade: The Series) as Doctor Fate. More information can be found here on iFanboy.com! Geoff Johns twittered that Hawkman will have “wings & a big mace” so I hope it will be better than the last time Hawkman was on the telly.

I wonder if Hawkman will have wings much like Castiel of Supernatural with his wings (see above) since this is the CW and I don’t think they have the $$ for CGI wings but I may be wrong. Maybe they can find the wings used by Mothman in The Watchmen movie lying around (since Smallville is shot in Vancouver where The Watchmen was filmed) and put some feathers on it?

Also why only 3 JSA characters and its Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Stargirl? I am guessing that they selected Stargirl over Hawkgirl or Power Girl because Star’s origin can be done without much complication whereas Hawkgirl & Power Girl’s origin would be hard to do in 1 episode. Oh and yes I know Smallville has a (lame) Black Canary character. I do hope they mention that these JSA characters are just 3 of many and they have been fighting crime & super powered issues on Earth long before Clark left Smallville – that would be similar to how Geoff Johns wrote his LEGION episode of Smallville.

The new Flash poster (which I dig!) for Terminator Salvation. The movie stars Batman… I mean Christian Bale as John Conner and seems kinda well… I don’t get it in connection with the TV Show or the other movies. Ah well. Hollyweird hey? Enjoy!

Well I am but at the same time I feel I need a great deal of salt to deal with how much they plan on changing EVERYTHING in the Star Trek world. Will it spin off new movies and shows? Hmm?

I know it has been a few days since I last posted but with the Canuck Thanksgiving, sports (Vancouver Canucks hockey & BC Lions Football) plus this thing called work getting in the way, I never had the time to get online recently. That and the fact that Telus decided to give me a weekend without ‘net access for Thanksgiving. So nice but I never asked for that and my addiction freaked out. I ended up spending most of the weekend trying to bring a dead router back to life, I feel like Doctor Frankenstein or at the very least Dr. Walter Bishop.

I do like the black shirt that “Kirk” is wearing in the shots. Great way to keep him hi-lighted in all the spots. I am so done on Sylar, too much of him on Heroes and now his Spock will likely be too much as well. Gah. I am liking the new Romulan look of Eric Bana as the big baddie Nero!
