Podcasts of Awesome #2

Podcasts of Awesome #2

As I try to support the other comic book blog websites out there, great work from Mike Haynes and crew on the latest Podcast of Awesome #2. Go listen, check it out and hear how they talk Marvel Apes, Deadpool, Kick Ass, Red Hulk, Dark Reign, Age of Sentry, Final Crisis, POA shirts and misc. other t-shirts (like the Matt Fraction “Iron Man is Right” shirt design).

My only issue is the huge major support of things like Secret Invasion and Marvel Apes (pick of the week – WTF. Wow. Lame!), seems like the podcast is a touch Marvel wing biased but I still enjoyed it. Hell — they are doing it and I am still typing stupid keys and not. Also I will always support another Canuck Comic Blogger, Go Mike Go!

Although Mike did say he would give a shout out to BtS, I listened and… nothing. We also don’t even get the pimpage on POA re: the BtS Heroes Season 3 Giveaway thingy. I know, I know… this blog/site ain’t big, popular or for the cool kids. *le sigh and big pout*

Oh and I wanted to mention, since I am talking podcasts, I also enjoyed the very first Podcast of Awesome. Congrats to Mike Haynes for this great work, something William and I were planning for over a year but we… well, okay, I never got going. I mean of POA is going podcasts and Hartley is doing vidblogs, I think its time to find something else to do which I am still working on. Anyhoo, here is where you can listen to Podcast of Awesome #1:

Oh and mega Congrats to the whole Tournament of Evil that was going on at Panels of Awesome! I know I barely was participating this time around, just too crazy busy (plus at times I had a hard time voting on the site but I think that was just me) but any new Tourneys from POA, I will be pimping them out to high hell here on BtS! Check out the winners here:

Listening: Bendis Tapes Part 1

Listening: Bendis Tapes Part 1

I do enjoy listening to Word Balloon podcasts and the latest version is The Bendis Tapes Part 1 with John Siuntres. I think that John Siuntres is a great interviewer, has a good voice, keeps pace well and askes good questions. I remember hearing early clips of The Bendis Tapes regarding Robert Kirkman and since then I have been just waiting for the full podcast. Have a listen if you are interested:
