Well shit, I wonder how HEROES will last for another season when they just got rid of Nathan Petrelli from the show. Too bad, he was one of the few actors I enjoyed watching, not that I can stand watching much of the show now but if he had come back… maybe.

Alright so a new agent… I mean person from the M80 marketing company contacted me (I guess my old contact got taken out or something very Alias-like) about doing a new Heroes Season 3: Villains giveaway thingy. I was lazy ass to respond but hey, any pimpage is good pimpage so I am responding now. So a giveaway of comic books. Okay. Do you want a limited edition Heroes Comic-Con exclusive comic book like the one below for FREE?!

Okay so here is how we are going to do it — YOU write a review of the first episode here in the comments section and I will choose the winner. Best review gets a comic, fair enough? Pimp all you like, dislike or love about Heroes and I will then copy & paste your review (with any images of your choosing) to announce the winner. Remember to include your email address in the comment (it is not posted but I can then email you back) so I can get a hold of you when you win. Winners will be decided later this week as I am expecting a call on Tuesday from the Human Resources Department of Massive Dynamic between 9pm and 10pm.
Good luck to everyone who submits, all 3 of you.
(I really wish the people behind Doctor Who would contact me re: pimpage and giveaways. Pls BBC, feel free to use and abuse my blog for Dr. Who!)

As the newest HEROES season is about to begin, I wanted to give out a big thanks to BJ @ M80 for sending me two exclusive Comic-Con Heroes comic books! I meant to put this call out a while ago when I got the books but it has been insane for me lately. The book is one of those short marketing comics but some great short stories by the likes of Mark Sable, Yule Caise, Chuck Kim and stunning artists like Jason Badower, Peter Steigerwald & Marcus To! Kudos and remember to check out the videos about the Heroes Create-A-Hero campaign:

The newest HEROES trailer hit the ‘net waves today. I really do hope that this new season will take the show up a notch and not just give us season 2.5.
I love the one-liners from the trailer, “This is where evil resides!”, “They’re Villians, Claire.”, “One hero meets his match!” and “this season, no one is safe”, “What happened to you, Claire?” and the creepy bit of Claire telling Peter, “I always loved you!” (Ain’t they brother and sister?!). If that ain’t enough, you got a Claire and Sylar show down, a little Blair Witch type of scene with Claire and Days of Future ‘Heroes’ Past thing going on with the whole Dark Claire bit at the end.
All in all, I think it is a very decent trailer for the new season. See I can be positive.
I can. Seriously.

So at “The Con” Heroes booth, you could go inside and VOTE on the next HERO to get their own Online Live Action series either Santiago or Audury, based on these characters being created last season. So I got an email reminding me about this so I went through and really enjoyed seeing Boba Fett pimping this whole viral thingie out so that the youtube vid I put up. Here, go make with the clicky:

I voted for Audury as she is all “dark” and evil-like! I don’t mind her whole “control time (slow/speed up) powers” but man that would be hard to write.

Okay I want my free sticker or something now… hello? NBC? Viral marketing people (M80 who had contacted me on behalf of Sprint)? Bueller? HOUSE!?
Buggers!

Are you jonezing for Heroes? Well on July 14th the new webseries “Going Postal” hit the ‘net and gives you the slight rush of your Heroes fix! Looks like the newest “hero” is X-Men’s own Banshee.
Snagged from CBR here:

Seems like we got some scenes of the Days of Future Past Dark Claire here ditching the Cheerleader outfit and now in the Black leathers, jeans and gun in hand! More sneak peeks from the upcoming new Heroes Season 3: Villains!
