Well I’ve met to post this for a while now but it’s pretty bloody obvious that this blog is on a hiatus now.
This blog has a history that was tied to a certain comic book store in Vancouver, Canada (You know, where the 2010 Winter Olympics were) called ELFSAR COLLECTION COMICS & TOYS. Sadly Elfsar had to close down in May so in many ways, it’s closing has also put the final nail into the coffin of this blog. If I had ANY thought of returning and sparking this sucker up, it’s all gone now. Elfsar was the spark that had me start REALLY bad reviews over on Happy Harbor Comics website. That went on for a while until I thought, why not just start my own blog doing the same thing and ranting about whatever else I wanted. So I did and BtS was born. It went through many looks & feel until finding the latest incarnation. Now don’t get me wrong, I do miss it at times but overall I think running this blog took a great deal out of me in ways I haven’t still realized. I managed this blog almost as much or more than working 8 hours a day and that got to be too much in general. That and I feel my appreciation for comic books lately has been at an all time low so I have little to talk about.
I know many friends I know wished I kept the blog up and running but never truly understood it was like feeding a forever hungry zombie… and I FUCKING HATE Zombies!

Okay I think the camera in my new cellphone is all messed up ’cause this photo I took of my nephew, Kameron, came out all weird.
Yeah… that has to be the real reason ’cause otherwise I really am seeing little green men everywhere I go. I am not paranoid, I know there is a simple explanation for all of this. Maybe this is all just a bad dream. We do not really live in a world apart of the Skrull Empire and not everyone I know is a Skrull.

The one thing I am getting used to in working at home is my girl Zoe. She loves to be loved and often wants to curl up with me for a few zees while I plug away at working online. Some shots.

People who know me should know that I like to change things up. I had a beard in Czech and now I am back to a mohawk (yes I have done this before). I like the change but within minutes of this photo, I ended up taking a nice fall down my stairs while carrying a chair and landed on my left foot.
Those that might remember I broke my left foot while @ Radiant Communications a few years ago while participating in a United Way stupid long jump thing *in the office*.
This is the same foot. May not be broken but just by a hair – hurts like its broken. This was my weekend and I need to give a huge shout out to my nephew Kameron and Tamara who stepped up. We got Grandpa(my dad)’s spare bedroom ready w/ a new bed. Kameron helped big time!
Decent news – I got EA Sports NHL 07 (for XBox) and have already begun a Vancouver Canucks destiny and we got Brule on a trade to help out our team. First game (same as current season) the Nucks got shelled 12 – 5.

On September 9th, 2006 – Kameron Fakhari turned sixteen and this is the future of our world.
My nephew has begun down that road which involves stepping outside just being a “kid” and slowly becoming a man.
Not only do we as people need to worry about yet another punk on the road but this big guy is going to become a force to remember in this world. He is strong, charismatic and very funny.
I should be so scared that he and my other nephew Patrik are the future but man the chaos that they bring just makes me smile.
