Those who remember know I have a <3 for Bomb Queen (I mean I made a header for BtS w/ the lovely Bomb Queen) and I just found this lovely interview done on Panels on Pages on Sept. 28th with the creator of Bomb Queen, Jimmie Robinson.
You can find that interview here (or click the image above):

The current volume of Bomb Queen (Vol. 6) has just begun & stars President Obama as the new focus of the Queen’s attention. I love seeing any Bomb Queen and not just for the T&A / sex / nipple slips but because how many GOOD villain comic books are out there? One that sits right on the bleeding edge and makes me smile / laugh, cheering for the villain to win? One that doesn’t make the villain(s) the hero (ala Secret Six) just to get printed?
I am happy that I was lucky enough to meet, greet & get some books signed by Jimmie Robinson at Emerald City ComicCon last yr (wish I got a photo) & if he comes back, I will go back & say hi again.

So I saw this on Rich Johnston’s Bleeding Cool website noting that news from Big Apple Comic Con this past weekend, Christos Gage and Mike McKone are doing a title called Avengers Academy which means that Avengers: Initiative might be over or apart of the fall out from the end of the Dark Reign storyline. I am sad to hear that A:I *may* be over but happy that Gage, who I enjoy reading & meet at Emerald Con, will continue writing some Avengers with this new series. I wonder if Taskmaster will still be around and/or if the new Ant-Man rejoins the Avengers Academy.

So I have mentioned this for a while now but now I will make a blog post about it. I am now in Seattle and going to the Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. I will try my best to do some blogging on Sat night / Sunday about the Con with some photos I can take or remember to take (likely cellphone pics as I don’t plan to stumble around w/ my camera — then again, I just might). I do plan on attending the DC Nation and Mondo Marvel panels along with going to various other panels and whatever else is going on.
