SDCCI - BtS Day One Photos
The Watchmen OwlShip & Dharma Initiative booth
Alright so I toured around and I was completely taken back by it all — SDCCI is HUGE! I cannot express how much WOW I was doing at the Con. I got there late, rushed in through reg and into the Doctor Who / Torchwood panels (which were TOO much fun!) then I walked the floor and was blown away. After getting lost then standing in a 4 block long line for the Afro Samurai sequel panel which I then crawled out from and into the Marvel Mondo / DC Nation panels (they were back-to-back in the same room) to which I wandered downstairs to find out the floor was closed.
Tomorrow should be lots of fun. Here are some quick cellphone photos from today, pls excuse the lack of BtS trim (the orange & white) as I just don’t have the time to do that tonight.

Doctor Who panel with Julie Gardner & Steven Moffat (sadly no Russell T. Davies) but they were GREAT!

Torchwood panel. Very very funny! A bit over the top but in a great way!

The Iron Monger armor!

Bart Simpson goes all Batty!

Mondo Marvel panel was pretty funny and good!
The Jeff Parker news of the on-going Agents of Atlas was great news along with a new full Deadpool series along with Kevin Grevioux talking of the upcoming Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel plus Greg Pak writing War Machine on-going series! Good fun but I always felt that the Mondo Marvel panel seems to really take their shots at the fans asking questions. I laughed and enjoyed it but I could see many who wouldn’t have laughed, I do like how the Marvel creators took a piss on things with good spirits! More here on CBR:

DC Nation panel - LOTS of fun, very well done!
My biggest problem with the DC Nation was everyone was RAH RAH Final Crisis! People did shout out and ask why Countdown sucked so much but generally things were upbeat and fun! The Kevin Smith coming out to mention his 3 issue Batman mini-series was fun! Here are some more links on what happened here on CBR:

Batwoman who was at the DC Nation Panel behind Greg Rucka!
