The Dark Knight - Meh!

Maybe it is just the mood I am in but this movie, started great but went from okay to predictable to WTF re: Harvey Dent. Overall I am very MEH on The Dark Knight. If this is the future of comic book movies then please stop now. Let me enjoy the comics as comics, stop with this meh movies. I mean Bale was good, Caine, Freeman, Gyllenhaal and Oldman were great, if Ledger was anything but exceptional then it would have been a major disappointment but to me Aaron Eckhart stole the movie (as I a bigger Two-Face than Joker fan) and it was the ending which reminded me of why I hated the Tim Burton original version of The Batman.

Dude hes not dead.
Hes suppossed to be in the next flick and his death is just the cover story they fed the public.

Yeah I was thinking about that, I mean it is a comic book movie, anything can happen. No one dies in comics but for the movie itself, the fact that the best character (sorry the Joker was good but he had to be, right?) “dies” in the end was B L A H!
Again. I am not in the best of moods today. I thought seeing DK would have made me feel better but no.
Did I miss something after the credits?
Thanks Hart for the heads up, I would have appreciated seeing this in the movie itself than being told afterwards. Feels very movie ZOM to me.

There is a brief tribute to Ledger in the way of “this movie dedicated to” in text on the screen.
Not to sound insensitive, but considering how much of a given that was, seeing it in text on the screen well after the credits began rolling nothing worth sticking around for really.
You’re allowed to be in a shit mood man, it happens to the best of us.

And me!
It does seem to be a very common misconception that hes dead at the end of the movie.
I can’t help but wonder if that was intentional?
