Sadly this will reduce the movie to tried and true contrivances, canned scenes and make it an action-packed snorefest instead. I wasn't a fan of the first movie, I won't be a fan of this movie either. The Hulk plays best when he is an unstoppable menace to society and other superheros have to try to get him under control. He doesn't need an overblown origin story, and The Government(tm) is a monstrously bad enemy... all he needs to be is a force of nature, but we're unlikely to ever see that on film, and I don't know if I'd even like it on film. I doubt MArvel will make the mistake of pulling a slow snorefest with big green again, they know it didn't work last time.
