New G. I. Joe logo
After hearing that Larry Hama is no longer attached to the movie, The Third Rock from The Sun actor is Cobra Commander and now this new logo. Gah, I worry about the G. I. Joe movie and I am growing tired of steel/metal/silver look of movie titles. See more of the logo here from MTV website:

I’m still going to see it, just so i can root for Destro to wind and see how badly the screw up Major Bludd.
Without Cobra-la the GI Joe franchise is dead to my eyes. This movie will fail, even if it does manage suck my twelve bucks out of my wallet.
Good news for this project after all.
Latino Review got a new revision of the script. They got a cease and desist for any details they might have posted but: The score for this one was A+, as opposed to F- for the previous one. I am now hopeful.
Robert, I don’t think you’re giving the Third Rock from the Sun actor enough credit. Go see “The Lookout” and tell me he didn’t do a brilliant job. Plus, it’s not like you will see Cobra Commanders face… and isn’t Cobra Commander supposed to be a scrawny little whinny bastard?
For me, pre Cobra-La is the real G.I.Joe. I still pretend that it never existed.
That movie like Transformers (with the death of Optimus Prime) signaled the end for my generation.
Whiny bastard is one thing but he shouldn’t look like a KID. You just know he’s going to be pulling off the mask to get screen time for his face (one downside to recent comic book movies) and he may be a good actor (have yet to see “The Lookout”) but Cobra Commander being a kid is lame. LAME!
After watching LOST, I think Terry O’Quinn would be a good Cobra Commander as they could tweak his voice to be more whiny but he could pull of the bastard bit very well.
