Marvel gives up on new stories. Dark Phoenix to return!

The Marvel Marketing Machine is back in session with teasers like the return of Phoenix. Nice Dave Finch cover but bloody hell…

  1. [...] paraphrase the R to the J to the P, I love this about as much as I love One More Brand New [...]

  2. Silenzio says:

Que the theme music from Battlestar Galactic.

The X-Man have only 7 story lines.

    This is number 5.

  3. rjp says:

Number 7 has to be Scott Summers fricken leaving the team / running away after someone (Bobby) bats an eyelash at Jean Greys dead rotting corpse… oh wait can that tie into Number 5?! Hmm…

Hey this would be fun – what are the 7 X-Men stories that they ever do?!

One of them has to be all the Space Opera stuff rolled into one.

  4. Silenzio says:

    I’m snagging 1 and 7 then. Your’s is 3.

    1. Insert villain of the month making all the mutants feel emo about their existence because they are ‘different’. Thus highlighting the -isim of the writers choice.

Unrequited love is a sub plot that leeches off the other plots like a lamprey.

  5. Weston says:

Ugh Why wont the Bitch Die and stay dead ugh do we really need to rehash the Dark Phoenix Saga? I see Cassandra Nova on the poster so that sorta makes me feel better. But why do I have this uneasy feeling where gonnna get drawn into another lame space odyssey? didnt they learn with fall of the shiar empire?
