Between The Staples - Between The Staples by Robert J. Parizek and is just another comic book news blog with a hint of lemon from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I hate late comics!

I hate late comics!

I am a comic book junkie. I freely admit it and when I cannot get my weekly fix… man I start jonzing. This week there was a delay to the warehouse and no one on the lower mainland of Vancouver, B.C., Canada got their comic books (so I am told). I am not upset at the LCS as they have no control over this but man does this piss me off! Especially when I make the time to get them.

I had to settle on a trade to tide me over. I cry to the skies, to the forgotten gods on how much I loath my addiction!

I did have a lovely chat with those @ Elfsar Comics & Toys in Yaletown (yeah thats a plug).

This is why I pick mine up monthly instead of weekly. Less stress, more satisfying.

    You are crazy man. Crazy!

It’s so sad when you see a junkie with the shakes.

Do you want me to send Zeek around in a little bit to help you back into your house from the street corner Robert? You know how much your neighbors dislike it when you stand there ranting at the world.

This time though you might want to think about wearing pants.

I know… me standing around in the snow in my tighty whities, ranting to the world makes me sound like I am in a bad Warren Ellis comic. :P

Often when I do rant around here, I get hit with many snowballs with John Byrne’s name on them. hehehe…
