DC trades J’Onn J’Onzz to Marvel!

NEWS ALERT! DC Comics trades the rights to J’Onn J’Onzz to Marvel Comics! All this comes after recent online petitions to save the character from the upcoming Final Crisis series!

J’Onn J’Onzz also known as The Martian Manhunter has been a DC trademark since first appearing in the back-up story “The Strange Experiment of Dr. Erdel” in Detective Comics #225 (November 1955). Marvel parted with the rights on characters of the recently canceled The Order plus intellectual rights to the next rethink by Warren Ellis on older Marvel characters.

J’Onn J’Onzz is already suited it up as the big “secret” for the new black ops x-title, X-Force, more details to the upcoming X-Force #1 can be seen here on CBR:

The characters of The Order are said to be used as cannon fodder for any upcoming Teen Titans stories for Sean McKeever to use if sales drop. It is speculated that the Warren Ellis rethink will likely end up as a WildStorm title.
