Alright I don’t do this much but here are my Best of the Best for 2007. I will likely add to this as the hours go by (if I have time) so here are some of thoughts of 2007.

Best Writer 2007 - Dan Slott and Bendis! are tied here. I wanted to mention Grant Morrison and Paul Dini but they have had many more hit and miss issues than Slott and Bendis of late.

Best Up & Coming Writer 2007 - Jason Aaron. I look forward to his books every single time. Never let down.

Best Ongoing 2007 - New Avengers tied with Avengers: Initiative, Scalped and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I can’t pick just one!). I want to add Fables but I do not read it in floppies as I trade wait it.

Best Comic Book Event 2007 - DC’s Sinestro Corps. War ties with Marvel’s Annihilation: Conquest.

Best New Series - The Umbrella Academy tied with Suburban Glamour.

Best Super-hero book 2007 - Justice League of America ties with New Avengers.

Best non-Marvel/DC book 2007 - Image. Bomb Queen. Never fails to deliver!

Best 2007 Series to Hate - Black Summer. Warren Ellis ain’t even trying on that one!

Best 2007 Anthology - Arcana’s Dark Horrors 2. What? Come on it’s the best book out there! Okay okay, a shameless plug!
