Johan Hex to ride into the theatres!

Seems that Warner Brothers is going to bringing this Western anti-hero to the big screen soon.

Johan Hex to ride into the theatres!

They already have film makers onboard to adapt, they should get talking to the current writers of the comic book Johan Hex, Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. They did a wonderful job of the title when I was picking it up. More info here from ComingSoon.net:

  1. OMFG! I demand one of those creepy kids in the back who refuses to hang up his brown coat, take down his River photo (no matter how obviously sticky they are) and just get over his obsession with all things Firefly begin the immediate start up of a harassing, nagging, new media campaign to get Adam Baldwin cast as Jane… I mean Johan.

  2. *LOL*

    Nice imagery. :P

Good call on Adam Baldwin as Johan and funny enough he did voice Johan Hex on the Justice League cartoon (gods I wish that was back on the air w/ new episodes!)

  3. Stop it. You’ll make me all misty eyed in fond remembrance of that paragon of cartoons.

  4. This is where DC edges out Marvel in the sense that they began with Batman, then Superman then Batman and Superman and finally Justice League (in all its forms) which then tied into the majority of its core characters. Marvel tried with X-Men and Spiderman now they try again in a sense with single animated DVD releases but its not the same as the work put into making a television series that worked.

I do not know but I think that DC’s “holy trinity” of heroes gives them the edge in building out from them whereas Marvel has its core of heroes but often they are interchanging with the growing fads / interests.

Anyways. Your right - now I want to stop working and go watch the JLU DVDs I got. Blah.
